What will you be responsible for?
- Visual Strategy: Develop and execute visual merchandising strategies that align with FOM's brand values and enhance in-store customer experiences.
- Design innovative window displays that capture attention, communicate seasonal themes or promotions, and differentiate the store from competitors.
- Ensure displays reflect the brand’s identity and effectively showcase key products using props, and visual storytelling.
- Regularly update displays to align with new arrivals or events and assess their impact on foot traffic.
- Store Layouts: Design creative, impactful in-store displays using colour, composition, and lighting to attract customers and encourage exploration and create seamless customer journeys.
- Ensure displays align with seasonal themes and brand identity while keeping them fresh, organized, and visually appealing.
- Display Excellence: Design and implement eye-catching window displays, in-store installations, and seasonal themes to reflect current trends and brand campaigns.
- Design store layouts that enhance traffic flow, minimize congestion, and strategically position merchandise for maximum exposure and customer engagement.
- Utilise floor space, walls, and fixtures efficiently while incorporating clear signage to guide customers and highlight promotions.
- Brand Consistency: Maintain consistent brand aesthetics across all visual merchandising efforts, adhering to FOM guidelines.
- Showcase key products and organize merchandise into logical groupings or themes to enhance visibility and customer engagement.
- Provide clear product information and regularly update displays to align with seasonal changes, new arrivals, or promotions.
- Design innovative, eye-catching promotional displays that align with seasonal themes, brand messaging, and marketing campaigns.
- Create interactive displays that engage customers while ensuring adequate stock levels to meet demand during promotions.
- Analyse post-promotion sales, customer engagement, and ROI to assess the effectiveness of promotional activities.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Store Managers, Regional Managers, and Marketing teams to bring campaigns and promotions to life in-store.
- Stock Placement: Analyse sales data to position high-performing products strategically and maximize profitability.
- Train and develop store teams: Provide guidance and training to store teams on visual merchandising principles, display techniques, and brand presentation standards to ensure consistency and effectiveness in execution.
- Trend Awareness: Stay updated on VM/Retail trends, industry developments, and consumer preferences through research and forecasting.
- Monitor competitor strategies, including product assortments, pricing, and store presentations, to identify opportunities for differentiation.
- Apply visual merchandising trends and creative display techniques to enhance store presentations and set the brand apart from competitors.
- Project Management: Manage multiple projects, including new store openings and seasonal updates, while adhering to timelines and budgets.

What you bring:
- Diploma in Retail Management, Business Management, Visual Merchandising, Fashion Design, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience as a Visual Merchandiser, ideally in a retail or lifestyle brand.
- Proven track record of creating impactful displays that drive sales.
- Proven experience in training and coaching teams to create visually compelling and effective visual merchandising displays, campaigns and store layouts.
- Proficiency in design software (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
- A strong passion for fashion, retail, and crafting exceptional customer experiences, with a focus on innovative displays that captivate and engage customers.
- Valid drivers license and own vehicle preferrable.
