As a People Support Generalist, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting, developing, and empowering our people across the business. From recruiting talent to enhancing employee wellbeing, driving training initiatives, and ensuring smooth HR processes, you’ll be at the heart of making our company a great place to work. What will you be responsible for?
Recruitment & Selection
- Manage the full recruitment cycle for retail stores and HQ as needed.
- Screen resumes, coordinate interviews, and maintain recruitment databases.
- Ensure compliance with recruitment policies and timelines.
Employee Onboarding & Offboarding
- Facilitate new hire orientations and process necessary documentation.
- Conduct exit interviews and manage offboarding procedures.
HR Records Management
- Maintain up-to-date personnel records and ensure compliance with PAIA regulations.
- Uphold confidentiality and ethical HR practices.
Payroll & Benefits Administration Support
- Assist with payroll processing, timekeeping, and benefits enrollment.
- Ensure accurate payroll data validation and timely distribution of benefits information.
Employee Relations & Support
- Manage employee wellness initiatives and respond to HR-related queries.
- Provide administrative support for IR matters up to conciliation level.
- Assist in resolving workplace conflicts and maintaining a positive work environment.
Training & Development Coordination
- Design and manage training programs on the FOMify learning platform.
- Track employee training participation and assist with reporting (WSP/ATR & EE).
HR Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Support HR audits and compile HR reports for management decision-making.
Culture & Engagement Initiatives
- Actively participate in the Culture Committee and support culture-driven initiatives.
- Foster teamwork, communication, and employee engagement.
Store Visits & Performance Management
- Conduct bi-monthly store visits to assess culture, team performance, and training needs.
- Support Store Managers in performance evaluations and KPI setting.
General HR Administration & Communication
- Draft HR-related communications, announcements, and correspondence.
- Ensure effective internal and external communication within the HR function.

- Detail-oriented and ethical – You handle sensitive information with the highest level of confidentiality and accuracy.
- Strong understanding of HR policies, labor laws, and best practices.
- Able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Teams.
